Repelling Magnets
At SuperMagnetMan we have developed a lot of Hands-On Science classes for elementary schools through the years and this video features one part of the magnet class. As we normally think - 2 north poles or 2 south poles would repel each other and, yes they do BUT they can stick together. Magnetism goes through ANYTHING - Even another magnet! In this video we cover demagnetization of the magnet surface as these magnets are forced together as well as the fun part of flipping the smaller magnet off the larger magnet.
