Dipole Magnet - 1Tesla - 10,000 Gauss
Introducing the new SuperMagnetMan 1 Tesla, 10,000 gauss dipole magnet! Perfect for anyone needing a 1 Tesla magnetic magnetic field.
SuperMagnetMan and the Opkix One Video Camera
We are excited to share this camera with you. At SuperMagnetMan / SMMagnetics we work with countless companies in developing products and usually do not get a chance to tell you about it because of NDAs. We started working with Opkix almost 2 years ago on the magnetic base for this camera and I thought it was a brilliant idea at that time and now that it is available I can share it with you. I was able to get it just a few days before my trip to Tromsø, Norway to chase the Northern Lights. While we were there I was able to use this camera while we rode on a dog sled and in a reindeer sleigh. The Opkix One made it so easy for me to enjoy the things we did because I was able to completely participate in everything we did and still video it as well.
Teaser - Electromagnetic Rocket Launcher
We have been working on this subject for several months and we are very excited about where we are now and wanted to share it with you - stay tuned - the full video is coming in the next few weeks. A part of growing up includes model rocketry and getting to know the basics of electricity generally from things like model HO scale race cars on electric tracks. In this video I am letting you have a glimpse of what it is like to merge the two wonderful learning experiences and see what happens.
Projecting Magnetism
At SuperMagnetMan we get a lot of requests from customers about how to project a magnetic field over a distance away from the magnet. This video helps to explain how you can use the right magnet design to accomplish this goal. Magnets do not work like lasers or "Star Trek tractor beams" - but as you can see in the video there are ways to extend the reach of the magnetic field.
